Effective October 25, 2026.

This notice supplements the privacy policy for California readers. The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to businesses that meet its legal conditions. This notice does not claim that Edit USA meets every coverage threshold or that every right applies to every request. We assess requests under the law that applies and explain relevant limits.

Information and purposes

Our current information categories are contact information, such as signup and correspondence email addresses; signup consent and date records; messages you choose to send; network and request information used for operation, logs and security; and preferences saved on your browser. We obtain these from you, your browser and the services that operate the website. Their uses are email-list administration, responding to correspondence, displaying requested content, remembering local choices and protecting the site.

We do not operate a reader checkout or ask readers for government identifiers, precise location or sensitive personal details. An unsolicited message may contain information beyond what we request. Please limit what you send.

The host, backup services and email services may process information for their operational tasks. A video provider receives information when you load its player. External sites receive information when you visit them. See the privacy policy for storage, retention and external media details. We keep each category only as long as necessary for its stated purpose and relevant legal or security needs; hosting logs and backups do not have a promised fixed deletion period.

Sale, advertising sharing and browser signals

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run advertising profiles or knowingly sell or share minors' personal information. We recognize and display Global Privacy Control when available in the browser. Our current practices already exclude sale and advertising sharing, whether or not that signal is enabled.

You can review the signal and manage embedded media and saved views in privacy choices. Disabling media is a device preference, not a requirement for exercising a legal right.

Rights and requests

Where applicable law provides them, you may request information about collection and disclosure, access to specific records, correction, deletion and a usable copy. You may also have rights to opt out of sale or advertising sharing and limit certain uses of sensitive information. Exceptions can apply, including for security and legal obligations. We do not penalize readers for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Email info@editusa.com with the request and the email address associated with any signup. No account is required. An authorized agent may contact us for you; we may seek confirmation of authority and identity as appropriate. Verification should fit the request. We normally use email confirmation for signup records and do not normally need government identification. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain an extension, exception or denial when relevant.

If you disagree with our handling, reply to ask us to reconsider. You may also contact the appropriate regulator. The California Attorney General's privacy resource explains the CCPA and complaint options. Requests to unsubscribe or remove a signup are welcome even when a particular statutory right does not apply.
