External media
Permission is enabled initially. A YouTube player still waits for an explicit Play action. Turn permission off to prevent embedded players from loading. You can continue reading or follow a video link to YouTube, where YouTube's own settings and policy apply. The setting does not block ordinary external links or externally hosted images.
Remembering your section view
The initial section view is a list. When remembering is enabled, the site can save your choice of list or grid on this browser. Turn remembering off to remove the saved section-view preference and stop saving later view changes. You can still change the view while reading. Your privacy settings are saved separately so the site can remember these choices.
Saving uses local storage on this device. If storage is blocked, the page will explain that the choices could not be saved. Clearing this site's browser data removes saved choices and restores the initial settings on a later visit. JavaScript is needed to use the controls; browser controls can also block third-party content or clear stored site data.
