AMD posts a record $13.4 billion quarter and forecasts $17 billion as data center sales nearly double

AMD's third-quarter revenue rose 45% to a record $13.4 billion, above the top of its own forecast, as Data Center sales climbed 97%. Gaming revenue fell 40%, and AMD expects about $17 billion in the fourth quarter.
