Former State Department and NRO contractor pleads guilty to spying for Ethiopia
Abraham Teklu Lemma, 53, an IT contractor with a Top Secret clearance, admitted conspiring to pass classified U.S. material to Ethiopian officials from 2021 to 2023. His plea deal calls for 10 years to nearly 22 in prison; sentencing is April 14, 2027.
