GM pays $220 million over selling drivers' data to insurers: what changes and how to delete yours
General Motors settled with 36 attorneys general over claims it sold Smart Driver trip data to brokers that resold it to insurers. Starting Nov. 30 it needs drivers' express consent, and drivers can request a copy or deletion of their data.
