Pennsylvania measles outbreak passes 1,400 cases: counties, hospital rates and the early vaccine dose for babies
Pennsylvania has confirmed 1,426 measles cases in 2026, with five deaths and 268 hospitalizations, most in Lancaster and Mifflin counties. In outbreak areas the state now advises an early MMR dose for babies 6 to 11 months old.
