Possible new dwarf planet found beyond Pluto: what 2026 ED138 is and how big it might be
The Rubin Observatory has found 2026 ED138, an icy object about 46 times as far from the sun as Earth that may be 600 to 1,500 km across. If confirmed, it would be the sixth recognized dwarf planet.
