Hubble

NASA asks companies how to save Hubble: boost it higher, service it or bring it down

NASA is collecting industry proposals through Nov. 30 to raise Hubble's orbit, service it or dispose of it safely. Without a boost, the telescope is likely to fall back into the atmosphere in 2033 or 2034, so a mission would need to fly by 2032.
