November's Supplemental Security Income payment is scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026, because November 1 falls on a Sunday. The Social Security Administration's 2026 calendar places the payment before that weekend. For recipients planning next month's bills, the late-October deposit covers November.
That leaves October with two scheduled SSI payments, on October 1 and October 30, and none during November. The change in timing does not add another month's benefit to the year's total. The following regular SSI payment is Tuesday, December 1, a date also confirmed in AS USA's October 25 reporting.
SSI and Social Security follow different dates
People who receive both SSI and Social Security should keep the two payment dates separate. SSA's calendar places their November SSI payment on October 30 and their Social Security payment on November 3. The early SSI date does not move both benefits to the same day.
Other Social Security recipients generally follow a birthday-based schedule. The October 30 date applies to SSI, so readers receiving retirement or disability benefits alone should check their own payment schedule before expecting a deposit that Friday.
SSA's payment-schedule service explains how to check upcoming and past payments. Its automated phone assistance is available around the clock in English and Spanish at 800-772-1213. When prompted, say "check delivery." The agency lists 800-325-0778 as its TTY number for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
