Eric Bauza, the voice actor known for playing Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, died on October 25 at age 46, according to Los Angeles County medical examiner records. His family announced his death on Instagram, The Guardian reported.

The Hollywood Bowl's artist biography credits him with three Emmy Awards for performances in Looney Tunes Cartoons, Bugs Bunny Builders and Teen Titans Go! His television roles also included Puss in Boots in The Adventures of Puss in Boots and Baby Fozzie in Muppet Babies.

The biography describes a childhood near Toronto in Scarborough, Ontario, where his father and grandfather introduced him to Looney Tunes. He later voiced Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety, Marvin the Martian and Woody Woodpecker.

His screen credits included Space Jam: A New Legacy, The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp. He also hosted Stay Tooned, a six-part 2022 documentary series about cartoons' cultural impact.

Bauza brought those characters to concert audiences as well. His voices appeared in animated shorts shown in Bugs Bunny at the Symphony, including Daffy Duck in Wet Cement and Bugs, Daffy and Tweety in a short celebrating Bugs Bunny's 85th anniversary. The Hollywood Bowl hosted the program on July 11 and 12, 2025.
