The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a dozen recalls on Thursday, October 29. Edit USA has separate guides to the two biggest, 5.9 million Bodum French presses and Dreo space heaters. The other 10 are smaller, but several involve fire, suffocation or poisoning risks in products that sit in bedrooms, nurseries and basements.

Check these first
Power banks. The HAIARA recall covers black 20W chargers with "Model: W5 PRO" on the side and no eight-digit date code printed on them, sold on Amazon by Mitrytech from May 2025 through September 2026 for $18 to $22. Mitrytech has received 600 reports of fire and overheating, including three burns and nine cases of property damage. Stop using one now; the refund requires a photo of the charger marked "recalled."
Gas boilers. The boiler recall covers gray NTI FTVN and TFTN boilers and black HTP EFTU boilers sold through heating contractors and distributors from May 2021 through July 2026. A cracked part inside can let unburned gas collect inside the cabinet, and if it ignites the front cover can come off suddenly. One technician servicing a boiler suffered a broken jaw. Compare the serial number on the rating plate, on the boiler's left side, with the ranges in the notice, and call Ariston at 800-688-2575 for a free repair. Households that must keep running the boiler until then should make sure their smoke and carbon monoxide alarms work.
Dressers. Owners of either dresser should stop using it unless it is anchored to the wall and keep children away from it. The Yinklev model is 6 drawers, 32.3 inches tall, with model number C-0633 on a label.
Nursery items. PILLANI U-shaped nursing pillows with model number NP4351 have an attached smaller pillow and waist strap and fall short of federal nursing pillow rules. Harkla's blue compression swings with a four-hole ceiling hook (SKU LS-COMP-1BLU or LS-COMP-1BLU-SW) should not be used until the free repair kit is installed.
Medicine cabinet. RootStim minoxidil bottles lack the child-resistant packaging federal law requires. Store them out of children's sight and reach, and ask RootStim for a replacement.
Each notice linked in the table lists full model details and the company's contact. Several refunds ask owners to write "recalled" on the product and send a photo before disposal.
