PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered and Monster Train 2 from November 3 through November 30. PS4 owners get access to the first two; Monster Train 2 is listed for PS5 only.

Sony announced the lineup on October 28. The November window is the period for adding the games to your account. You can keep playing claimed monthly games afterward while your PlayStation Plus membership remains active.

Monthly games are included in Essential, Extra and Premium. An existing Essential subscriber does not need to upgrade to Extra or Premium to claim this selection. Those higher tiers also provide access to separate catalogs, which have their own selections.

What the selection includes

Dead Island 2 is a first-person zombie action game set in Los Angeles, with solo play and online co-op for up to three players. Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered contains The Last Revelation, Chronicles and The Angel of Darkness, with a choice between original-style and updated graphics. Monster Train 2 is a single-player card-based roguelike built around defending a train.

Push Square points to its 7/10 reviews of both Dead Island 2 and the Tomb Raider collection. Its Dead Island assessment favored the setting and combat while criticizing the RPG systems and loot loop. Its Tomb Raider verdict described worthwhile modern options alongside imperfect ports.

Claiming a game and keeping access

Sony's download instructions direct PS5 users to PlayStation Plus, then Benefits and Monthly Games. On PS4, open PlayStation Plus, select Monthly Games, then choose Add to Library and Download for the game. Sony also supports remote downloads through a browser or the PlayStation App.

Redeeming a monthly game attaches it to your account; merely seeing it in the monthly lineup does not claim it. Push Square confirms that redeemed games remain playable after the selection rotates, provided you keep a Plus membership.

Sony's cancellation policy says benefits continue through the subscription period you have already paid for. Once that period ends, access to monthly games ends too. Canceling renewal therefore does not immediately cut off a paid period, but adding these titles does not give you permanent access without a subscription.

Before November's selection arrives, October's games have an earlier deadline. Sony says members have through Monday, November 2 to add F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 to their libraries. November's new selection opens the following day. Sony does not specify a precise cutoff hour in its announcement.
