Amazon Prime members can now order Uber Eats restaurant delivery inside Amazon's website and app, with no delivery fee on orders of $25 or more, Amazon announced Thursday.
Prime's old restaurant perk ended the same day. Amazon's Grubhub notice says the Grubhub+ benefit "is no longer active on Prime" as of Nov. 5. Members don't need to do anything, and their Prime membership stays the same. Amazon says Grubhub account problems and old Grubhub orders are handled by Grubhub support.
How the Uber Eats perk works

No separate Uber Eats account or app is needed. Search "Uber Eats" in the Amazon app or go to amazon.com/ubereats, pick a nearby restaurant and pay with the card already on your Amazon account. Amazon sends the delivery updates, and Uber Eats sends the final confirmation.
The $0 delivery fee applies to orders of $25 or more from qualifying restaurants. Terms and exclusions apply. Amazon's announcement covers the delivery fee only and does not say whether Uber Eats service fees or other charges change, so the checkout total is the figure to compare. For the first 14 days after launch, a member's first two orders of $25 or more each get $20 off, and Prime Visa cardholders earn 5% back on Uber Eats orders through Dec. 5, 2026.
Every Prime plan qualifies, including the half-price Prime for Young Adults at $7.49 a month and Prime Access at $6.99 a month, as does an adult sharing Prime through Amazon Family. Amazon says the service reaches nearly 10,000 cities and towns, from Boston and Los Angeles to Boardman, Oregon.
What Amazon's savings estimate assumes
Amazon estimates a typical member could save more than $175 a year, based on how often people ordered Uber Eats in August 2026. A standard Prime membership costs $14.99 a month or $139 a year. That estimate assumes ordering at the usual rate, and members who order less often will save less.
