Call of Duty: Warzone no longer runs on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
Activision dropped the older consoles when Season 1 went live at midnight Eastern on Nov. 6, the same day the free-to-play battle royale arrived on Nintendo Switch 2, according to the game's Season 1 patch notes.
Nobody loses their history. Progression carries over to a supported platform for anyone who signs in with the same linked Activision account, the company says. Activision's Warzone page lists Xbox and PlayStation alongside PC through Battle.net or Steam.
What moves with you

Season 1 folds Warzone into Modern Warfare 4, and Activision's season overview says a long list of older cosmetics comes along. Operator characters and their skins stay, and so do weapon blueprints from the last four games, Modern Warfare II through Black Ops 7, along with smaller cosmetics like calling cards and parachutes.
Older weapons come with limits. They live in a separate Legacy tab of the loadout menu, can't be changed in the Gunsmith and don't support Modern Warfare 4 extras like mastery camos or build codes. Each one comes as a five-attachment version, and existing blueprints keep their attachments, though both start locked and open up with player experience points.
A new setting added this season shows only Modern Warfare 4 Operator skins during gameplay, for players who would rather not see the older ones.
What changed in the game

Hajin, the season's main battle royale map, is set on the Korean Peninsula, and the new Resurgence map is Zodiac. Verdansk and Rebirth Island return. The new gear includes a zipline launcher and a grabber drone. It costs nothing on Switch 2. Players there get the same maps and modes as everyone else, according to the season overview.
