Gourmia is recalling about 175,951 nine-slice digital air fryer ovens because their doors can swing shut when bumped, burning someone taking out hot food. Owners should stop using the affected ovens immediately and request a free repair kit.

The November 5 recall notice lists 57 reports of doors closing unexpectedly during food removal, including 40 incidents involving burns to hands or wrists.

The recall covers the stainless-steel GTF7530, which has two spring-loaded glass French doors with metal handles. Check these identifiers:

  • Model GTF7530.
  • UPC 810002862779, shown on the packaging.
  • Back-label codes 3021 to 0126, alongside the model number.

The ovens were sold at Target stores nationwide and Target.com from October 2021 through June 2026 for about $150. Match the identifiers to your appliance; the notice identifies this model, not every Gourmia air fryer.

Request the free doorstop repair

Contact Gourmia at 888-834-0092, Monday through Friday, or follow the manufacturer's recall link in the CPSC notice. The remedy is a kit mailed at no charge, containing an added doorstop and installation instructions. The announced remedy is repair, rather than a refund.

Keep the recalled oven out of use while arranging the repair. The notice's stop-use instruction applies even if you have not experienced an unexpected door closure.
