Magnetopia is recalling about 7,600 sets of magnetic building cubes and blocks because small magnets can come loose if a cube breaks or opens. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says to stop using the recalled sets immediately and contact Magnetopia for a full refund. Keep the pieces away from children while arranging the return.
Which sets are recalled?
Look for the model number on the back of the box. The recall covers MAT-030 through MAT-040, plus T009, T025, T076 and T078. The CPSC and Magnetopia list the same model numbers, though some style names differ. Use the number on your packaging to identify the set.
The sets came in packs of 60, 100, 150 or 200 pieces and sold on Magnetopia.com from April 2025 through October 2026 for $20 to $40. Swallowed magnets can attract each other or other metal objects inside the body, causing a blockage or other serious injury.
How to get a refund
Start with the recall website linked in the CPSC notice. Magnetopia will provide a prepaid shipping label for the return. The company's safety notice says a receipt is unnecessary and that the refund includes applicable sales tax and original shipping fees.
